Diana Opong. Producer & Host
Diana is a proud graduate of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University.
Originally from Ghana, West Africa, and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Diana's love for storytelling began at the age of sixteen when she was given the opportunity to host a series of episodes of a community AM radio show called Teen Talk. Since 2000 she has been working in radio and other forms of broadcast production.
Wanting to create her own projects for some time, but not knowing how to begin, Diana found support in friends who helped jump start her independent creations.
In June 2020, Diana was inspired to apply, and beyond thrilled to be accepted as an Association of Independents in Radio (AIR) New Voices Scholar for 2020!
Diana is excited to further her career through personal development opportunities, networking, and lots of creation, with a goal to work on non-fiction transformational storytelling projects.
